What it means of course, is that the Catholic Church remains firmly mired in its own backward bullshit. Use the dogma Luke.
All religions have a cornerstone of blind acceptance of dogma.
You either believe, or you don't. There is no shade of grey.
In my view this is a good thing. It brings clarity, if not reason, to a complicated issue.
After all, religion is not about this life, it is about the next.
