I was reading Krisjan Lemmer in the online version of The mail & Guardian when I came across this article:

The manne were divided as to whether or not it spells “MDC”: the C is back to front and the chicken head confuses the issue, but when you’re sniffing out subliminal propaganda, you can’t be too careful.

I recall a similar incident during PW Botha's "Total Onslaught" days. The tree logo for FNB was thought to contain the image of a rabbit. The rabbit being a emblem of the ANC.
This caused a degree of backlash against FNB.
I have to say that you had to have a good imagination to see a rabbit.
Eventually FNB made some minor changes to the design.
